General
Why do I need a licence?

A licence is required to legally play music in your business. It ensures artists are fairly compensated and helps you avoid copyright infringement risks.

How much does it cost?

A single flat subscription for every business, regardless of size or number of locations. No hidden charges.

Do I need to pay SIAE or LEA (PRS/PPL) on top?

No. Audiimax covers the rights for playing music in commercial settings. You don't pay the Italian collecting societies separately.

Do you offer a free trial?

Yes — 14 days, full feature access. Nothing is charged during the trial; your subscription only starts if you don't cancel before day 14. (Apple asks for a payment method at sign-up, but no payment goes through until the trial ends.)

What is the payment model?

Monthly subscription, automatic payments, cancel any time. No long-term commitment.

What is background music?

Ambient audio played in commercial spaces to enhance atmosphere and customer experience, tailored to your brand.

Is there a maximum number of locations?

Our Enterprise plan scales to any size. Single venue or thousands — same licence, same royalty split.

How can I play music in my business?

Subscribe to Audiimax, pick a playlist (or curate your own), play it through any device connected to your existing audio system.

Are you interested in using my music catalogue?

Yes — we welcome submissions from independent artists. Submit via the contact form on this site.

Can I add or remove locations?

Both, any time, with no fee. Adjust from your dashboard or contact support.

Can I cancel my account?

Yes, any time. No cancellation fees, no long-term commitments.

For artists & labels
Can artists and labels submit music?

Yes. Submit your catalogue for review. To license tracks to Audiimax you must own the relevant rights so we can distribute and play them legally.

How do I get paid for my music?

Via our revenue-sharing model. If you own the rights, you're eligible for a higher royalty share. Payments are monthly, providing a consistent income stream.

Do I need to de-register from SIAE/LEA?

Yes — to unlock the higher royalty share through Audiimax, artists de-register from SIAE and LEA so we can route the performing rights payment directly to them.

What genres do you accept?

Everything. We curate by quality and brand fit, not genre. Independent artists across all categories are welcome.
