PRS and PPL are the UK's two main Performing Rights Organisations. They collect fees on behalf of songwriters and recording rights holders when their music is played in public.
If your venue plays licensed music through Audiimax, you don't need to deal with PRS or PPL directly — your subscription covers the equivalent rights for the catalogue. That removes a separate bill, a separate compliance line, and the risk of falling foul of their rules.
